WHAT IS PB RESOLUTION?
PB Resolution is a fitness program that combines yoga and strength training into a seamless, easy-to-follow 12-week schedule.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
THE YOGA
All of the 24 classes range between 30-40 minutes, making it easy for you to fit it into your day. Each class targets different parts of the body with Check Point classes built in for you to track your own progress. Each class varies in difficulty, but is always accessible with modifications for all levels. And with classes like “You Flexy Thing”, “Twisty Hippy Flow” and “Yoga Spa,” you’ll be both challenged and relaxed. With PB Resolution you’ll have 3 yoga days and 3 strength training days with 1 rest day at the end of the week. This schedule is designed to balance yoga and strength training for optimal results.
THE STRENGTH TRAINING
You’ll get 32 Unique Strength Training Workouts with over 150 individual exercises PLUS video illustrations of each move, so that you know you’re doing it right. Each workout is designed to take less than 40 minutes so you can fit it into your day. With PB Resolution you’ll have 3 yoga days and 3 strength training days with 1 rest day at the end of the week. This schedule is designed to balance yoga and strength training for optimal results.
Note: You will need to have two sets weights, a light set between 3-8lbs (2kg-4kg ) and a set of heavier set between 10-15lbs (5kg-7kg)

WHO IS ERIN MOTZ?
I’m the co-Founder of Bad Yogi & voice of real yogis everywhere. I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and have been teaching yoga for over 13 years. I can honestly say I’ve been a student of the human body for over a decade. My years of independent study in anatomy, biomechanics, kinesiology, and personal training with my experience teaching yoga to a diverse group of private clients ranging from pro athletes to stay-at-home moms, have taught me how to get results. I’ve combined everything I learned over the years to develop PB Resolution, a program that will challenge you and target all the parts of the body in fun and creative ways. In my spare time I’m a wine drinker, cheese eater, and not your average yoga teacher; you won’t hear much Sanskrit, I totally forgive you if you don’t know your asana from your elbow, and I believe that yoga is for everyone, from the kale loving vegan to the prize winning deer hunter. I may be a Bad Yogi, but if I’m being totally honest, teaching yoga has been one of my greatest joys; I practice to feed my teaching, but I teach to feed my life.
IS PB RESOLUTION FOR ME?
If you’ve been searching for something to strengthen, tone, and increase your overall fitness level that ALSO compliments your yoga practice, this is exactly what you’re looking for. For example, as yogis, we often lack strength through the posterior chain because while yoga does a great job of strengthening our “pushing” muscles (chest/pectorals, triceps, deltoids/shoulders), it doesn’t do a great job of strengthening the “pulling” muscles (latissimus dorsi, hamstrings, abdominals, trapezius, etc). Yoga is a fantastic modality for general health, but it’s not a cure all for everything. There’s no one magic solution that is! Variety is key. And you need to be doing some kind of resistance training for your long term health and fitness. If you’ve been feeling that pull to find something that compliments your yoga practice, you’ve found it. What if I’m not a yogi?

Will this help me lose weight?
If your body is holding on to some extra weight, then this will be an excellent tool to help you release that. If weight loss isn’t your primary goal, this is a great way to maintain where you’re at and improve your strength, flexibility and overall health. The great thing about yoga is that it meets you where you are. An over-simplified reason as to how yoga helps with weight loss is, simply: it helps further stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system (PNS), which is the branch of our nervous system that regulates our heart rate and allows us to “rest and digest” when we don’t need to be in “fight or flight.” Very simply put: our PNS calms our bodies while our sympathetic system controls our fight or flight response. As we go about our daily life, even small stresses can trigger that “fight or flight” mode, and the PNS is what regulates it. When our bodies are under a lot of stress, our fight or flight response shoots out of control, sending our bodies in to overdrive. In that state, we over-produce stress hormones like cortisol, which contributes to unnecessary weight gain. Yoga helps bring it back in to balance by toning the PNS, strengthening our body’s ability to cope with little stresses so they’re less triggering and less harmful. Too much info? Really sorry! What if I don't care about losing weight?
If weight loss isn’t your primary goal, this is a great way to maintain where you’re at and improve your strength, flexibility and overall health. The goal of losing weight isn’t for everyone and it doesn’t have to be. This program isn’t just created with the goal of helping people lose weight, but with the goal of helping people get healthy. If you lose weight along the way, so be it, but the focus is on feeling stronger and healthier.

Bad Yogi is a yoga & lifestyle brand that creates yoga classes for real people. My name’s Erin and my partner Adrien (aka “The Frenchman”) and I are the founders of Bad Yogi. Do I need weights?
Yes, you need something weighted. I’ve seen people use empty milk jugs filled with sand or water for something heavy, and I’ve seen people use their regular water bottles for something light. You can certainly improvise, but if you want to get official, don’t worry— getting real weights won’t cost you much at all. Snag a set of light weights between 3-8lbs (2kg-4kg ) and a set of heavy weights between 10-15lbs (5kg-7kg) from your local sporting goods store or from Amazon. Here are two options from Amazon for all you US people: Option 1 and Option 2.
Will it work on my phone or tablet?
Yes! Just use your favorite browser to log into your account and you’ll be all set. The entire platform is 100% compatible with screens of all shapes and sizes.
